Default break in period?

Seeing as most all the internals on the Z6 head I have built are new is there still that damn break in period. And what are the opinions of going highcomp for the break in as it will see boost in june? The difference to go highcomp turns out to be $150 more than already spent. I figure this will give me better HP gains until boosting. Options to include 'teg pistons (10:5.1) and Y8 head gasket.

Should I really waste my time or might it be a better break in method?

I would just leave it like it is until you're ready for boost, and allow all the new parts to wear in correctly.
