hey, having a zex stage 1 cam installed on my 98 EX. I was wondering, would i need an adjustable cam gear? Also if anyone is running a stage 1, what were the increases like?

 

You don't have to have a an adjustable cam gear. It would help a lot if you got one and tuned out the timing with it but you will still feel the gains from it w/ the OEM gear. Im getting the ZEX stage 2 cam/springs soon. I'll let you know how the results from that were...
