CAN SOME ONE EXPLAIN
I was at the the muffler shop the other day gettin my new muffler put on when a same yr model civic pulled up i started talking to the guy and saw on his engine he had taken the intake manifold off and and ran his cold air intake straight in to the throttle body wat is the purpose in this and is there any thing to really gain from it other than sound like the guy said
did you actually see this setup? Because it's not exactly possible. The intake already runs directly into the throttle body... and if there were no intake manifold, I'm not sure how the throttle pedal would work, where the fuel rail/injectors would be, or anything like that. You need an intake manifold.
Are you sure he wasn't talking about Individual Throttle Bodies?
