Default cant pass smog because its hot

ok.. I have an 88 civic hatch dx... with a jdm b16a, headers, exaust, blah blah blah... anyway.... it is obd1 now.... There is an integra type 2 intake manifold and throttle body.. and sensors... I cant pass smog, and thats the only thing I can think of.. because the type r manifold and TB are for a 1.8 liter... especiallt the throttle posistion sensor.... I cannot floor it because it will die from too much fuel being dumper... can I take and obd1 throttle sensor from a regular b16 throttle body and put it on the type r throttle body? that is the only thing I can think of that would stop me from passing smog because it is the only thing on the car that does not work like it is supposed to... HHEEELLPP!!!

did you swap the white wire with the green wire on your tps, because they are backwards for the 88

the car runs fine.. if the wires were swapped it would run waaayyyy bad.... but the tps sensor is for a 1.8 and i have a 1.6.... thats why when I floor it it dumps hells gas and dies.. its still trying to dump for a 1.8..... but a 1.6 liter throttle position sensor should fix that, right? i mean, all it does is say how much the throttle is open.... the other sensors tell how much air is going in... so I figure, if I have the sensor for the 1.6, it should pass smog... I mean, if I have to (and i I KNOW this would work) I will just buy a whole obd1 intake manifold and thottlebody with all the sensors... then it will for sure pass smog.. but if I could get ahold of a 1.6 liter tps sensor and put it on, i think it would work... what do you guys think?
