I have a 95 cx,
I am pretty sure the rings are toast, burns a quart every 100 miles. My temps are up and i need to pass smog to get plates. If i put in a really heavy oil and maybe some oil sealer would i be able to hold off the smoke for a day? If so what weight should i use, 20w 50? something extreme? thanks for the help

 

um I think maybe try that and do a heavy oil I guess if you think that will work try a sealer first though see if that will work. if not look at replacing your rings.

 

like tater said you might try a sealer and a heavyer weight oil but it sounds like your oil rings are gone good luck
