I am considering buying a 95 honda civic vx for my wife to use a commuter car around town and for myself to make one 200 mile highway trip each month. The car that I am looking at does not have power steering and the salesman, who seems to be a honda guru, says power steering was not usually put on those models because they were meant for economy. Is this true? I know it's a light car with a short wheelbase, but how much will we miss having the power steering?
