Default Civic Engine Life Expectancy ??

How many miles can Civic engines go ? (with proper maintainence of course).

At what point will do they need rebuilt ?

I'm looking at an 88 Civic w/200k on it. Seems to run/sound decent. Owner claims it doesn't burn oil.

hondas will run forever if you maintain them... 200k is pretty much nothing for a honda.

if it's taken care of you could probably get over 300K out of it.

a million-billion-gazillion-bagillion-fillion-hundred-trillion miles....or in other words, a good while if taken care of.
