D15B or D15B7? or something else? if its just a D15B you should use it...if it has a number after the B then you should sell it.

where did you get it? Look to the left of the exhaust manifold about 1/3 the way down on the block. If it says D15B2 or D15B7 you should sale it like said above. If it just says D15B it is a JDM D15B which is what I have. Very good engine but I need to know what route you want to go before giving any advice on what to buy for it.

The D15B is like the ultimate mini me from the factory

D15B =

D15 block
D16 rods
The JDM D15B crank is the only D15 crank that will accept D16 rods
Uses a D16Z6 head casting but a slightly more aggressive cam, also the jdm d15b's ecu is has a lil bit more aggressive fuel maps to supply the cam

The draw back to the engine is when looking to build it. You will need custom pistons being that even though it uses d16 rods the deck on the D15B is shorter meaning if you ran aftermarket d16 pistons they would actually slam into the head.

well im looking to get as much power as i can without getting a turbo, and real major engine stuff, cause i'm duing the civic awd conversion from the civic wagon, and maybe think about entering autocross in the sport stock class. they allow upgrades, just has to be n/a power, and no crazy engine work, like boreing, and pistons and that stuff.

Looks like I'm not the only one who likes AWD. Could this work in a 92-95 gen Civic?
