d15b1 .... heads??? new engine??
Ok so I have a question I have an 88 civic hatch with a d15b1 and i was wondering what d-series would be the easiest swap and alos if i could use a later model head on my current block beacuse its not multi port fuel injection so i wanted to do some sort of swap because i plan on turboing it later on and i dont wanna go with a b-series so i need to know what options i have with my current setup i wanna keep my same tranny and also not too much wiring so please let me know if anyone has any input on this....thanks
d15b is a jdm engine with roughly 130hp SOHC V-TEC, you can pick up the engine for about 400-700usd but you would need a cpu and wiring too. the stock ecu and wiring from a 92-95 civic will suffice (i think) my 94civic ex had this swap when i bought it and the ecu is the same as a stock one and my car occasionaly throws a CEL but who cares when it runs fine. also im not sure about mounts or a trans but im sure that it will all bolt right up.

there is one for 480 engine only
but if you want to go from throttle body to multi point fuel injection there will be some wiring

personaly, no but my buddy bought an swap for his 240sx from them, good customer service but he hasnt installed the engine yet so i cant testify to the quailty, it looks good and they have a report of all the tests they performed on it, so i would say they are reputable.
