D16 or B16?

RE: D16 or B16?
hey i got the issue of the crx REX. look man the ls is a good motor trust me i've seen crx's with them and they run strong but even tho you can get one for cheap you still have to do alot of work. like get the b-series mounts, the axles, and blah blah etc [sm=headbang.gif]. its gonna cost you some money and your probably going to run just about the same as REX and all hes done is put a y8 head on his motor. soo even tho the ls motor sounds good i think its gonna be easier to do the mini swap on your stock block. 1 its cheap, fast, easy. 2 its a gas saver. 3 if you do some mods to the motor your beat a mustang and when they ask you what you go under the hood there gonna flip when they see the sohc motor. LOL trust me i've seen peoples faces when they get beat by a mini motor [sm=jawdrop.gif]. so anyways im just saying what i think but its really up to you man.

okay, in reply to that hondabboy and kappa. if i were to stick with the D16 should i consider switching out the head to a D16y8 since it's a VTEC or should I go ahead and keep the D16Y7 and have fun with that if i decide not to swap engines?

yeh get a y8 head its better thats what im doing with my swap i got a d16y7 block and put a y8 head in it. but if you want to go all motor then get a d15 block cause it has more compression then the d16y7 but just keep the motor and get a mini me head on it .
