I think he meant EFI. The motor out of the CRX is the D16A6 Non vtec motor.

Tell them you need a D16 vetc dizzy. That should suffice.

Break through. ok so i found out why the new dizzy as super D calls it is because its not a hitachi distributor. so i have two options find out what brand name my stock one is and see if msd makes one for that motor or buy a whole hitachi distributor and put the cap i already bought on the new one. so does anyone know anything about the dizzies on this motor or am i just SOL.

msd doesn't make any d series distributers, just caps and rotors.

yeah what i was saying is a hitachi distributor is the stock one. its a name brand that comes on some hondas. i orderd a dizzy that was for a hitachi and mine is not so i was thinking maybe i can order a hitachi distributor from auto zone or advanced and put it on my car and then put the cap i bought that fits the hitachi one.

hmmmmn ef dizzy not fitting.... sounds like your engine has a z6 head casting. sounds about right though being this engine is from the 92-95 models. either convert to obd1 or hack your distributor. im willing to bet non of the dizzy footing lines up. the upper footing should be the closest lining up but a little to short to put a bolt through it. actually did mean esi, found that info searching google.

found my distributor for the motor i ordered the 92-97 1.6L w/o vtec which is weird cause i have vtec but msd provided a outline of the distributor cap and i matched it with my stock one. cool huh. my civ should be up and running by next week thats if they don't burn up my clutch dyno tuning the damn thing. whith my luck they will and ill have to drop another couple of hundred of dollars but i don't want to pay to get the tranny broke open twice so ill just have to buy the lsd and flywheel while im at it so until then thanks for all the help and i appreceate it.<<<<<<don't know if i spelled that right but thanks.
