What is not fitting about the dizzy?

Is it the plug for the harness? Is it the actually the 3 mounting "ears"?

When you put a obd1 D series with a OBD1 head in a 6th gen civic the plug in for the dizzy from the harness will not plug into the obd1 dizzy. When a person swaps in a obd1 D into a 6th gen you have 2 options. 1) You can cut the harness and splice avery wire to put a obd1 dizzy plug on it or 2) You can take the internals out of a obd2 dizzy and insert them on a obd1 dizzy and under a obd1 dizzy cap. My question is what is not fitting with it.

Answer these first and we can move on for there.

Could just be a non-stamped 2G SOHC VTEC ZC.

OBD = on board diognostics

1 = 1st generation of the on board diognostics, there is obd0(mid 80's to 91), obd1(92-95), obd2a(96-98), obd2b(98-00) and I dont know what follows that.
