thats what i said in his other thread. i was figuring it was out of a 4th gen CRX?

There is no JDM Y8 the 6th gen D series engines in Japan are JDM D15B's with 3 stage vtec(like a U.S. HX engine but with a old civic VX bottom end)

I have dug and dug and found that the D16A is infact not a JDM engine, it is a EDM(Europeon Domestic Market) engine that is the equiv. to a U.S. D16Z6
