Swapped a D16A6 into a 1995 Civic hatch DX with a transmission out of a 1995 EX. Hooked everything up and the starter isn't cranking. Can hear the battery and fuel pump kick on. Was able to get car to turn over a couple times but then back to nothing. Starter is good, battery is good, solenoid is good. Grounds are tight and have been cleaned. Have double checked all connections. There is a spout (for lack of a better word) coming off the top of the trans that wasn't on the old trans. Not sure what it goes to or if it's related to not starting. Attached picture if someone knows what it's for. Any help would be great, we're stuck for the moment.
