You need to tell me what wire(s) you are testing and how you are doing the test.

this test was the yel/grn wire... i have a tester volt tester.... i clamped on the wire by the distributor and then poked the same wire (yel/grn) by the conectors before it goes into the car to the pcm...

Your voltage and resistance tests don't tell you much the way that you are doing them. Avoid testing this wire with the key ON. This wire is only tested with the key OFF. Disconnect the wire from igniter and the respective connector at the ECU. From the free ends, test for continuity to ground. Continuity would indicate a short (=bad). Next test for continuity between BOTH ends. No continuity would indicate an open (=bad).
