Default To DOHC or not to DOHC.....

I just got a '89 hatch with a zc 1.6 liter SOHC engine in it. My buddy has an '89 Acura that he's parting out and it is a DOHC. I was wondering if I should swap heads for the dual, or just get a cam for my single. What would get me a better power boost?

i don't know if it will be worth it (due to milage and stuff) but since he has the complete car maybe you can do the complete engine swap and if you need any extra parts he has them. I would think about it

actually, i think the dohc d16 head might fit, but its not really worth the trouble, youd be better off with a sohc vtec head.

just stick with the sohc. and whyy not just drop in a wicked cam while your under the valve cover. id go with either a stage 1 or 2 if you want to try it but youd be better off with the stage 1. try cranes cam for it. ive used most of there cams and installed them. they make easy hp
