Exclamation Engine mount shot

I am little upset to see the engine mount on top of the engine that connects to the cross bar is shot. The rubber is all torn and ripped apart. I am upset because the car was in the dealership
the other day and they should have seen this. Going back in on tuesday and they will hear an earful. If the part was $20 bucks I would fix it myself but the part is like $250 bucks.

That mount does not cost $250. Check the Majestic Honda site.

You're upset that they didn't find the issue when the car was in for servicing previously? B/c they would have just charged you the $250 at that point. So, I hope you are not mad about the money it will cost.

I guess I would be a little irritated seeing that you have to bring the car back a second time, but something like this doesn't deserve "an earful".

You have several cheaper options. A used mount will work fine. Or you can convert your broken mount into a solid polyurethane mount using this DIY: https://www.hondacivicforum.com/foru...ad.php?t=80490

Do that. If you end up not liking it you can always buy a mount to replace your already shot mount and this will only cost you $17 to do.
