i had no clue that you couldnt swap in an engine from an older car. i learn something new everyday. but could someone explain that if you dont have to do emissions in your state, can you still do it?
Most states have this law.

BUT if you don't have emissions, you're not going to get caught. No one else is going to care enough to check.

haha ok so... is thier like any site on learning bout all these engine codes... cuz i've looked and its confusing... isnt the h series turbo?
and i was told that putting an engine in a car thats not that cars type of engine is illegal? true?false?
False. I don't think you're supposed to cut into any of the car's structure, such as crumple zones of the firewall for safety reasons. But so long as the engine is newer than the car, it is legal to do so to my knowledge.
