Default Engine replacement

You guys are gonna be sick of me by the end of this. So are there any engine that I could use to replace the d16z6 without changing other engine components? Like practically direct replacement?

D15b -vtec
D15b7
Are the most common ones for 92-95..
But i think any D series will be a simple drop in replacement. (as long as its obd1)

What motor are you looking to get?
You are not allowed to put in a motor that came in a older car than the one your putting it into. (At least in nevada, california..)
