Default engine replacement

I have a 1985 civic with an e series 1.3 in it. The cam has broken in half. Is there a web site that I can use to crossrefrence what motor I can replace it with? I am not worried about performance I just want a cheap driving car. There are not many junk yards in Fairbanks AK. I have been looking on E Bay but I don't know what will fit.

Just in case you need the engine code, you're looking for an EV1.

Why don't you just replace the cam if you're not looking for any more power? (How the hell do you break a cam in half?)

did you have any headwork done before your cam snapped? Only time Ive seen a cam break was when the retaining bolts were improperly torqued down and it warped the cam to the point of snapping (within a few hundred miles).

Something in the head broke the cam. There was no work done to the motor other than services.

Nothing's impossible, but that would be so hard that it's safe to say it's impossible.
