No, I'm pretty surehe was strictly asking if that if you change your pistons will your redline be effected. Flip, for the transmission. It would effect what speed you are going when you reach your redline, notwhat rpmyour redline is.

oh no sh*t, my bad i even knew that.....yeah Mobsta has it right BCivic, your redline will be at the same RPMs, but you will be going alot faster when you reach those RPMs

Flip...either talk clearly or stop talking out of your ***. The only way he'll go faster at the same RPM is if the gear ratio is somehow changed.

Like I said, write in complete damn sentences with a point to your postor what you're saying makes no sense and confuses me and pisses me off in the morning. And yes, changing the gear ratios in done by messing with your tranny.

If you get higher compression pistons you should gain some power, but the tradeoff will be the need for higher octane fuel.

Is it like whatStreetSniper wassaying on the prev page of this post, that approx every point of compression is about 8 to 10 hp? Like if i got 12:1 I'd gain about 21 to 26 hp since I'm at 9.4:1 now?

The rule of thumb is, that in general for every 1 point of compression added, a 3% increase in power is gained.
