Default Gearbox driving me mad!

Hi. I haven't been here in a while but i know theres alot of good people here that are hopefully willing to help me out.

Just had a new clutch put in but now im having a problem with the gears :/

Before Clutch change it was ok, everything was fine even though i needed to replace a few bushes (still not replaced)

Every gear it feels like a battle, i come to a stop, try to place it into first and the stick stops halfway, if i bring in to neutral position with a wobble it goes into first alrightish... Feels a bit like its forced. Same goes for every gear whilst driving.

Gearbox was replaced with one from an eg.
Its driving me mad. When driving it goes in but feels a bit rough.

Done a bit of research but couldnt find my problem. Also gearbox was changed due to the synchro going, and this feels different.

Hope someone can help. Cheers

What year do you have by the way?

Does the car go into gear easily when the engine is off?

Sorry its a 96,but the box was off an eg... Unsure of year.

Feel the same with engine off.

Going to be ordering a bush for the linkage. I have a feeling it probably will be that, then get a drive shaft oil seal, then will be getting a clutch slave...

Sound alright?
