Default Getting some Horse without to much money

I have a 97 civic lx (1.6) I want to get some more horse power without gettting into the thousands of dollars. Can anyone tell me what they have done with their car before because so many things say you get horse power but they turn out not to give any.

Thanks

You could get a bunch of stickers for $20. LOL Seriously, NOS does have the lowest dollar to HP ratio. N/A has the highest from my research.

If you're talking about REALLY cheap performance... hit up craigslist!!! lol, also just go get some cheap *** SRI or CAI piping from ebay and buy a decent filter (K&N, AEM, Injen, etc.), shouldn't cost much more than $50 and makes for aslight but usually noticablediffernce in throttle response and they sound sick. Otherwise... strip off some weight or save up for a some nitro. I'd just keep saving money and checking www.craigslist.org DAILY for good deals (that's what I do!) and you'll have some cheap parts that make a big differnce in no time... good luck!
