i would rather stay b16a. The b20/vtec will break down on you sooner or later. I personally dislike ls/vtec and b20 vtec.

CR/VTEC > B16, build the bottom end and do it

yeah i planed on using a toda racing bore kit, and building the bottem end. i also planned on putting itb's on it.of course sometime rebuilding every thing in the engine. first would be bottem end, then head, then internals(toda racing bore kit), then bolt on's. i think that is planed out well.do you?

dont bore or stroke it just buy a good set of crower rods, weisco pistons, and arp bolt's and studs throughout. Also use honda gaskets throughout.

theres a guy down here with a b20vtec. only thing done to the bottom end is arp rod bolts. 17k miles in 3 years and no breakdowns worth mentionin(ie:due to the combination)

I would stay with the B16 because of the thin side walls on the B20.

what is wrong with the LS with the V-tec head swap? if you ran into any problems on it let me know cause i am about to swap a LS (V-tec) into my 4 door EG.

Dude the cyl walls are 3mm thinner or 0.1181 inches thinner. That spread around the whole cyl wall = nothing to worry about really. This is a over hyped myth that is complete bs.
