you may make that kind of power on a stock block n/a but in noway would you be able to drive it on the street. The cam would have to be so agressive you would about need a 2000rpm idle and allways have to actually launch the car. Now if you were to up the compression to around 11 to 1 and use lighter bottom end assembly with a full tune on a stand alone 150whp and above becomes alot easier to live with on the street.
please explain, I am new to this.

thanx

Akmee sounds good also.. no price on page for components..looks like they sell internals but not the head as a package deal i assume?.. also doesnt list compression they are using,, so i assume this is with stock bottom and neptune? which means then if i am correct on the akmee setup i could easily hit over 150 whp N/A with bottom and and neptune correct? 12:6:1 be too high also or would you want to stay closer to the 11:5:1 comp?

Contacting Akmee also.. after reading more in detail.. does appear to be just the package so i assume this is just a drop in deal .. doesnt say anything about headwork being done .. also. doesnt list Type R specs or info other than lift duration.. so assuming this would not be recommended for street use ..hoping you guys can give some more input/advice.. other thing I am wondering is how much these 3 (Exospeed, Gude, and Akmee) differ from a cam setup you can get from a known supplier such as Crower, Crane, S2, or Comp Cams.. could similar numbers be expected from one of thier packages with an AEM cam gear?

Yeah, I must say I'm not the happiest with Gude's customer service either. I emailed them asking if they could do a regrind for my y5 camshaft and at first they gave no answer, I emailed them again and just got the reply with call this number. Not even telling me who to contact or who to ask for. I called the number and got no answer. So I just didn't even bother after that, but still looking for someone who will do a y5 regrind.
