id only mill the head or the deck if its not true.......milling either head or deck can throw your cam timing off which you have to compensate for with adjustable cam gears. the only draw back to going with a larger piston is the cylinder walls become thinner and if your not sleeved they are that much weaker.

i wouls say the maximum amount possible for a dd and street gas 91 octane or 93 octane.
This is something I've always wondered. What is the limit of our little D-series's on 91 and 93 octane, compression wise?
depends on who is doing the tuning and how good they are, and what components you use in your buildup.

With a good tuner and proper components?

well for me as stated before.. Jeff Evans at www.evans-tuning.com would be doing the neptune job for me.. and machining and install would be done by local shops that work directly with him..currenly looking at refreshing complete oem bottom end and then the full headwork with most likely crower stage 2 or 3 valvetrain and adjustable cam gear.. lvl of cam would depend on what problems i would run into for daily driving and if stage 3 would be too much..

if you use crappy interanls, it isn't gonna last, or make any power, and if the person doing the tuning doesn't know what they are doing then it will not last long or make any power
