Yea I really know nothing about cars but I want to do something to my 01 civic to make it faster. Anyone have any suggestions? It'd be really appreciated. Thanks!

Yea the problem with that is I don't even know what I'm searching for... Thats why I posted on here. I was hoping some people would be able to say what to do or what parts to get ect.

if you don't know what to search, then that should indicate to you that you really shouldn't get yourself into this type of thing. and no one can answer your question because it's too vague, it can be answered with anything.

Yea well I gotta start doing car stuff sometime. I'm just looking for something to increase the power a little bit. I've heard of doing like different air in take things and what not but there are a bunch of different ones. I'm open to any suggestions. I'm sry for being vague but I don't really know specifically what to ask about.

we all just didnt jump into cars and know everything the first time. Its cool man dont worry about it. Just start with a simple, Header/Intake/Exhaust to start with. Just look around the forum and the project sections on how to do somethings. Honda usualy repeats a lot of stuff with there cars, so its not like every year they remake every part of there cars 100%. now the d17 is a little bit different from the d15(1.5Ls) and the d16(1.6L's). The d17 can actualy use some of the same valvetrain as the d16z6, d16y8, d16y7's. Anything you wonder about feel free to ask man, when in doubt ask and you will get a answer pretty quick

is it auto or stick?
depending on how much power you want, I would go with good suspension first. You may not accelerate faster, but you can stay in high rpms and a constant speed around turns.
Plus it would be funner to drive
