Default HUGE problem with new motor during swap

ok, pulled out my stock d16y8 to swap in my FULLY built y8 block with z6 head..

problem is, wheres the dipstick hole????

there isnt one, whatever, we can just drill a hole in for the dipstick (dipstick totally crucial in turbo car with 300+ horse Lol)

now the major problem, we pull off the timing belt cover, and harmonic balancer toremove the small chunk of the block that is apparently aftermarket in order to drill the dipstick hole...

but!!! there is a 1/8" gap between the s.o.b. and the oil pan, this is where we called it a day and put my old y8 back in and i nearly put my head through a wall..

now my question lol, that chunk of the block is removable, and i was wondering if i could just remove the one off my stock y8 and place it on the built y8 during the next install attempt lol, its the piece at the bottom of the block right above the oil pan and directly behind the harmonic balancer... we were afraid to do this because of all the bearings and on the other side...

any suggestions? and does anyone actually know what that piece is called?

thanks in advance
