well i found this JDM h22a OBD 1 [I dono what OBD is] Click Would this be a good swap, or an engine like this one? Later on maybe even turbo it at low psi also? Plus i found that i might get about 300 for the engine I have now, better than nothing I guess.

ORIGINAL: E2EK1EL

The K20 Has much more torque then the h22, i think h22a=163tq and the k20 is over 200 tq

hahahahaha. dont mean to laugh but the k20 has just about 20 lb ft torque less than the h22 but horsepower is just about the same

h22=163tq > k20=141tq

like one of the guys before me the h22 will run circles around the k20

the h22 is also not a good boosting engine thanks to the aluminum sleeves that is carries

d16y8 yes it is vtec, and a good starting point if you want a turbo car. and an h22 is a good swap good torque and hp, and availible factory lsd. just an expensive swap, because of mounts and axles and you need to get a shifter from an accord or prelude and run the cables through a hole (you drill) in the firewall or tunnel.

how about this then, i have 151k miles on my car like i said earlyer, any way i would get to 200hp with it without losing the reliablity of a DD? And the reason I would rather do a swap because my engine would last to about 200k or a little more then i would have to get another one anyway so why not just do it now and get a better engine.

for the price a a swap you could rebuild your engine and get a turbo kit. and make over 200 whp easy. that is if you shop smart

No way I could do it myself, I'm 16 and all I have done with the engine was take the valve cover off to paint it.

Well I know very little about engines and even if I did know what I'm doing, All I have is a rachet set, wrenches, and some screwdrivers so I don't have the tools for it either I don't think.
