I am a newbie that is thinking of swaping out my 99 EX Engine as well.
Doesnt the B series Engine directly bolt up to any Civic EX Tranny?
I know a kid I went to school with directly bolted a B18 to a 95 EX without swaping tranny.
Does it only work with 92-95 EX's or am I wrong alltogehter

Dont do an F swap unless it is the s2k setup. In my opinion.
You seriously have no idea do you? if you could do a F20C or an F22C swap you would need a custom built tranny that would be more then the cost of the car, engine, basically i would be a bunch of really long Reverse gears for going foreward, and a 1st gear for reverse.

The F20B would be the best bang for the buck when it comes to the F series of motors. 200hp LSD tranny and can be had for about $2500 for the whole swap
