Default I WANT TO KILL...

OK, i changed my damn rod bearings and it didn't take the noise away. I said OK, lets change the main bearings now, we did that and now WTF!!! the noise is still there!!! WTF else can it be. I want to hang myself...

It sounds like a connecting rod bearing is going out but it is actually quite faint. Its not that loud yet. But the bearings are brand new! Can the valvetrain make a noise while your driving that makes a noise that sounds like a rod or what else, besides the bottom end bearings, could it be???

rods-knocking sound gets louder as rpm increases
mains-hollow knocking at idle and low rpm, usually clears up as rpm increases
valve chatter-very very quick tapping sounds, they will destinctivly sound from the head.

one thing i failed to mention in my pm is that the flywheel will make a knocking sound if loose. sounds exactly like mains and rods going out at the same time.

ya but this noise is only showing its ugly face when you are driving the car. You can barely hear it at an idle.
