Alright, well today I took apart my Y8 block and found that i have a bent rod and the crankshaft is useless now. Whoever owned my car before me beat the $h!t out of it. I'm pretty sure its cheaper just to get a new block, but cant find a Y8 block anywhere, but the z6 block is everywhere. I know the y8 trans mounts up to the z6, but will the y8 head mount up just fine with the z6 block? I've searched it but i can't find a definite answer.

And i can still use my y8 distributor, Right? I've read about some problems with that as well...
