Default Little help?

I was wondering, iam more of a V8 big block chevy kinda guy. But what can you realy do to a 1.6 DOHC 16V to beef up the power ? i was thinking of just turbo'ing the hell out of it, but with my stupidity i dont know what will happen. So iam new to the forum and just wanted some tips and ideas money is not a problem. I got a junkd burnt up 2000 SI i bought from a friend who needed money realy quick and needed it bad. I was thinkin of just pullin the engine tranny brakes i guess and what els i can get out. Car was burnd inside mostly dont think it reached the gas line at all. Dont know much about honda's , imports, or 4 cylinders. So can use all the help i can get.

Any info and all the advice you can give will help. Thanks

Pull that motor and have it built with low compresson internals, then it can have an assload of boost thrown at it and will make sick power.

Default RE: Little help?

i'de replace everything that wasdamaged then if the oem engine is still good enough to use i'de leave it in and boost it with a conservative 10 psi. or do what me and some friends did on our si's. we built up the internals

our low boost is at 16 psi right now... 22 is high boost.

we're gettin the bigger turbo here soon with our eyes at 25-30 psi next.. it should be around 450-500 whp
