Default mini me intake question

I plan on using the y7 A/T throttle body(to avoid rewiring issues) I have now with the y8 intake manifold I'm getting. I'm not sure if the manifold is A/t however.

My question is this: as long as my trans is A/t, my p2p ECU is A/T, and my throttle body is A/T, will it matter whether the intake manifold is auto or manual?

I think either the A/T or M/T will be fine, but you will need to modify the M/T. With the M/T, the IACV bolts on to the back of the intake manifold, so it will have two holes that will need to be filled with JB Weld or something. Another thing to watch out for is the 96-98 IM is different than the 99-00. The 99-00 has small holes for cold start assist on the flange that need to be filled or else you will get a vacuum leak. When you buy your intake manifold gasket, you should get the gasket that matches the year of the intake manifold, not the year of the cylinder head. I hope this helps!

as long as your ecu,tb,trans is a/t your fine. intake manifolds are the same a/t or m/t, its the tb thats are different, the a/t tb has the kick down cable

Instead of JB weld on the back of the mani I could leave the iacv not hooked up just to keep it plugged right?
