you can't put a b16 head on a d15b7
i am assuming this is a typo and you meant d16
you use your existing injectors and entire intake manfold. You can use all existing wiring but you'll have to run your own wire from the VTEC solenoid to the ECU (an easier method would be to just use the D16 engine wiring harness).
You'll need:
the ECU for the D16
the head (duh)
D16 distributor (hopefully will come with the head)
96-00 Civic HX Spark Plugs (D16Y5)
D16 spark plug wires (hopefully will come with the head)
D16 timing belt
VTEC Solenoid (hopefully will come with the head)
D16Z6 or D16Y8 Headgasket (Y8 recommended because it is made of metal, as opposed to the D16Z6)
It is also recommended that you replace your water pump and timing belt tensioner since you'll have all that apart anyway and so you don't have to go back in there later and do it again. (use the ones for D15B7)
this should help you (the end of the thread got cut off though ):

yea if you have the transmission you should swap that too. I'm assuming the engine you're swapping is a D16Z6 (not a D16Y8). The D16Z6 transmission is geared shorter than the D15B7, and you will get better acceleration with it. Also, change the transmission fluid in the new tranny. Use only genuine Honda Manual Transmission Fluid (I'm assuming it's a manual), it's only $13 total for 2 bottles which is the amount you'll need, and it's not worth cheaping out on since the Honda stuff is already inexpensive.
Here's a good DIY for changing transmission fluid: http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread/1687986
Yes, you have to change out the computer. To clarify, ECU=Computer.
