RE: Motor Questions
So the F22 SOHC with a D series Tranny is the way to go? And Bistimo pulls 400HP out of a stock F22? Or a F22 with a H22 crank? Sorry just want to make srue I am reading you right.

RE: Motor Questions
Woa I definitely did not say stock haha. His motor is far from stock. It is probably about engineered to it's maximum possible potential on the fuel he is using (~128 octane). He uses a crank out of an A18 (JDM motor).
Depends on what you want man. I'm a fan of the D-series (notice I mentioned it first), but if you just can't have a turbo look to the B or F. The B series will be much cheaper because of greater OEM and aftermarket support, and will require a lot less DIY work. The F has the potential to make more power, but don't even bother withit unlessyou are anexperienced mechanic, or are willing to pay one.
My vote goes to turbo D or NA B for anything in the 200-250whp range, turbo D or NA F for the 250-300whp range, and turbo D for anythinggreater than that (I can't personally imagine ever wanting more than 350 from a Civic engine though).
