Yeah well i think i messed up my engine real bad this time. I took a little drive tonight and the car sounded funny so i came home and popped the hood. Opened it up and it was smokin (i thinK) a little so i checked the oil...barely anything in there. Waiting for my friend, who is a mechanic to come over and check it out in abt an hour. btw the car is a 2001 EX manual with about 95K. if anyone knows wut could have happened to it please let me know asap.

ahh crap. what kind of "sounded funny"?

 

idk the engine making like a clickin noise that increases as rpm's do. its coming from the somewher in the engine block.

 

Little oil = Lotta bad.

Was it steam or oil smoke? If you check the oil right after a ride it is gonna look a little low. How is the coolant level?

 

wow i was way off, oil is fine, coolant is fine. So i started the car and it sounded ok, revved it a little and still ok. Put it in first and started to drive off and nasty clicking noise again. coasting at like 10 mph in neutral and revving and its still fine. It only makes noise when im in gear. idk if u understand wat im tryin to say but yeah thats wut it sounds like.
