lol. i have dc sport headers. intake exhaust. i jus looked at my dizzy and it has like a lil leak. im sure the cel works cause i had a z6 im and the map sensor and throttle sensor code kept comein on so i put the b7 back on and now i get no cel. the bog sound is coming from the engine it self. my exhaust isnt as strong and when i push it, it dont pick up speed like it should. so what should i do about this dizzy leak??

 

You pal are 100% right but you got to know what modS not just put whatever you want on and think your done. I have people who think puting pepboys muffler and intake will make it fast lmao. You know who? take a guess....the mexican (no offence to all mexican but some in my city) when fast and furious movie came out..that's is when Autozone made a lot of money.

lucky to pass 80 mph? That's BS. I had a 93 Civic DX and it could hit the governor easily (125-130)... in an automatic

If you can't hit 100, there's a problem.

 

<-- also has an automatic which is also stock.. i hit 125 before, but its still hard for me to hit 100. it all depends on the conditions and the location. a civic is an economy car, it dosent come "fast and furious" from the dealer..

 

dude the other day when i picked up my 92 eg sedan, all stock d15. i hit 110 on 195, as far as i can tell and what ive heard from prev owner there arent any mods. just spark plugs and wires. ?? it took for ever but i got to 110 and realized how crappy the tires and suspension really were. scary

 

im not saying that they cant, like i said, i got my stock automatic ek hatch to hit 125 before, but if your going up a hill or the road is slightly going up, then it will be harder, same with wind resistance, i mean civics arent race cars, sure you can hit 100, but its not going to hit 100 anytime you feel like it...

 

finally someone who knows what there talking about. i kno theres something wrong i just dont kno what. in my old d15 i could cruise at 115-120 redling at 7000 rpm with out floating the cams. no smoke engine was perfect i jus gave it to my lil sis. but idk what this could b

 

Yeah, I thought my car might have had some illegal mods or something. I have a 88 Standard with a d15b1 in it and I could hit 110 with ease on that thing.

 

yeah well I was reading online and it seems the autos can't go past 100. Slow engine, slow car, yes I just went 100 in mine highest gear remanimg at 4k rpm. Maybe going down hill it can go faster. I read online that 124 or something is max speed, and then w govt removed it can go 136. Something like that. My engine however sounds perfect, smooth, I mean slow but I expect that.
