i have a 93 civic dx with a d15 1.5L non VTEC
im more into muscle cars but parents wont let me get one[:@]

basicly im asking if any1 has any cheap mods that will actially make a difference

 

lol, it's spelled VTEC all caps no H. If you didn't notice HCF censored your V_T_E_C_H and replaceed it with VTECH.


So, to answer you question, you can do the standard Intake (CAI or SRI), header, and exhaust. Or if you really want VTEC you can do a mini-me swap and put a VTEC head on your existing block.

 

For the price, compared to muscle cars no there are not many mods you can do that will make much of a difference. Turbocharging can give great hp/per dollar, but that's true of most any platform or engine configuration.
