http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2059889 <--website list
https://www.hondacivicforum.com/foru...ad.php?t=12908 <--aboot a swap
https://www.hondacivicforum.com/foru...ad.php?t=22466 <-- aboot Intake, Header, Exhaust.

and did you mistype? your sig says d16y8 which is it?

and also why are you looking for cheap upgrades but still considering a swap? an engine swap is not a cheap or simple process...

for cheap engine upgrades, check out the no-name brand parts on ebay... don't expect them to fit right or last long though...

there's no such thing as cheap when it comes to modding cars. well, unless you intentionally buy crappy cheap parts... but like I said, don't expect them to fit right or last long.

General rule of thumb with performance parts... if it isn't a name brand, it sucks

get a magnaflow direct-fit high flow cat

that's about the only other thing you can get now that will work on the B18
so i say just get the cat, and then wait until you get the B18 to get anything else performance related.

Personally, I'd keep the y7 (maybe do a mini-me swap) and boost it. With the $3k it'd cost to swap to even a b18b, you could put down WAY more power than the b-series you'd swap in for the price does. With $2500-$3k, you could definitely put down 200hp with your y7. A b16 or a b18b swap will cost around $3k, and those are the cheapest b-swaps available.

And yeah, performance and low prices don't really go hand in hand.
