why r u going to do cams, if your going to install turbo? make sure you inform whoever you order your head parts from knows this or you will end up just blowing all that boost thru the valves and you will lose power instead of gaining. or you could go stage 3 cams with high compression valves, racing springs and retainers, mill the head and install a thin head gasket for even more compression. and if that doesnt put you back in the seat hard enough you can still supercharge it and the cams etc. would still be a benefit

I looked up all my parts for the cams from skunk2.com
310-05-2320 VALVE SET (STOCK SIZE B-SERIES DOHC VTEC) - HIGH COMP $373.20
The rest of the stuff is racing also, well that i priced for anyway. It will be a little over $2000 from all the crap I want from them, thats why I wanted one of our sponsors to maybe help me out a little . Either that or I will be doing alot of searching on e-bay or what not.

If money is no object, build the bottom end before you drop the motor in. THat way when you get the turbo, you could run a higher boost and run a lot more HP.

I was debating on it, but I didn't know how much more boost I could run with re-doing the bottom end. I was going to run about 8 psi for daily driving then up to 10-12 depending on what I was racing. But I don't really know how much it would cost to re-do the bottom end. I'm to get an idea now so that I can start to work the right amount of over time.

damn...i posted in the other tread without seeing this one.

dont look at an H22 if you're looking for good fitment. the H22 is much bigger than a B, and Bs can easilly be bored/stroked to 2.2l.

and like i said in ur other thread...a B18 will run a car about a second faster than a B16. torque does count for something.

It is cheaper if you do the work yourself. I would recommend having it blueprinted and to get the bottom end built by a pro, cause there are alot of precision measurements that have to be done. But you could take the motor apart yourself and put it back together if you think you can do it. That'll save you a good amount of money.

Well unfortunetly I am almost completely car illiterate I can do no work to them except like change oil and tires ect. But my g/f's cousin does a lot of work on civics, I think he dropped a B16 in one of his old ones then sold it. I'm gonna have to get a hold of him. And at sunrisejdmmotors they want $2600 and comes with:

( Engine, Transmission, ECU, Intake Manifold, Exhaust Manifold, Distributor, Alternatur, Starter, Power Steering Pump, All Sensors, Clutch, Fly Wheel, Pressure Plate )

And jspecautosports is $3550 and comes with:

List Of Parts Included
• Complete Motor
- Block
- Intake Manifold
- Complete Head
- Sensors
- Exhaust Manifold
- Fuel Rail
- Injectors
- Distributor
- Throttle Body
- Alternator
- Starter
- Ignition Wires
- Headers
• OBD1 ECU (Computer)
• 5-Speed FWD Hydraulic Transmission
- With Clutch components assembled to the engine
• Engine Mounts
• Intermediate Shaft
• YONAKA MOTORSPORTS Drive Shafts
• AVID RACING Shift Linkage

And then I have to worry about shipping costs and crap, so I don't know if thats worth it or not cause im not sure how much the drive shafts and shift linkage is worth. I'll have to do some research and find out.

so ur saying youd pay an extra grand just to get the mounts and axles with the engine?

no combination of axles and engine mounts is worth $950.

Actually, if you get hasport mounts and those 400HP axles that could run you close to 950. But that would be overkill.
