if it cranks, the alternator is highly unlikely.

please explain crank but doesnt turn over?

you mean it doesn't catch ignition

sounds like a timing problem if you got out of time then it would certainly die
out of time could also cuase it not to fire at all or even worse back fire all to heck
my solution is this
take off the valve cover so you can see the rockers
manually turn the engine over with a breaker bar and a socket till number 1 cylender (farthest right as your standing in front of the car)
is at TDC on the INTAKE STROKE now your rotor should be pointing at number one spark plug wirewould be on your distrubuter cap
if so wonderful put it all back together and put a timing light on it do not forget to jump the plug under your steering wheel with a piece of solid wire and make sure your timing is set to the standard on your sticker on the underside of the hood of your car

you may have accidently put the distrubuter in 180 degrees out. its very common to do that.

if that dont work stand on your head wear one green sock and sing the german national anthem. . . send all video to this forum!

first things first, check:

all distributor components, namely ICM (ignitor) and the coil
check that the timing belt didnt break.

those are the most likely, unless its something mundane like a wire came loose that wasnt hooked up properly from the swap.

OK, The car cranks but theres not enough spark to start the car. We test the wires thats hooked up to the distributor and the harness and it was (green light) it's ok. But nothing comes out of the distributor to the spark plug wires. I checked the timing i checked the ignitor, coil, changed the whole distributor, i checked the relay it seems ok cuz it doesnt look burnt or beat up. i did everything that i could think of that has to do with the spark, my feeling is, it's probably the wiring from the swap but then again I was riding it for like 2months straight so thats wut got me confused of the wiring harness. But do u think it could be the ignition switch ??

Any help would be a BIG PLUS!!!
