The H22 has thin cylinder walls high boost isn't good on the stock motor.

yeah i knew it was either the cylinder walls or the bore:stroke ratio on the H22 that didnt make it good for boost, couldnt remember which one tho.

H series has the strongest bottom end than any other... you can run 12-15 lbs with nothing done to the bottom end
Oh And by the way I hay A hybrid swap Its a 96 H23 block w/ a 95 H22 head.
But i want to get something straight I'm not trying to put anyone down or make anyone mad.
But in my opinion H series is a all around better motor due to the fact that it has a way better
torque to horsepower ratio.

GSRs, Type Rs, and SIRs are way better for high rev applications

you need to consider aftermarket research though, and support. and also its not going to accomodate some of the things he wants to keep in his car. so with the information he gave us, the h series is therefore not an option for his aplication. your acting like somebody said you made a bad choice with your personal car, we are only trying to give him his options for the conditions he set... cool?

really you can runn 12-15 lbs with nothing done to the bottom end on any engine. PSI has nothing to do with the integrity of the engine. its all HP. besides, H sleeves will die in a fire if you run that much daily.

Oh And by the way I hay A hybrid swap Its a 96 H23 block w/ a 95 H22 head.
um isnt that backwards? correct me if im wrong...but you just said you swapped a non-vtec head that had a stronger bottom originally onto an engine with a weaker bottom end that had vtec? for some reason i dont see your logic. help me out here.

ok just wondering. that just seemed a little weird to me. because usually it goes the other way around (H22 block w/ a H23 head, because the H23 head is vtec and the H22 block has stronger stock internals). good thing you have aftermarket internals tho.
