If u plan on boosting i would stay away from the B18C5 and go with a B18C1. The C5 has a very high compression ratio (not good for boosting) and can be pricey. The C1 is better for boosting and has some good torque and horsepower. I have also heard that a B20 block with a B16 head is a killer setup for boost but i am not sure about it. just my $.02.

the cheapest place ive ever seen the GSR is at www.sunrisejdmmotors.com. 2.6k for engine, tranny, ECU, all sensors/manifolds. its the best complete swap for anywhere near the price (that ive seen). on top of those you will need the rear engine mount from a 99 civic Si (or you could get an aftermarket mount set from HASport) and the axles (which you should be able to pick up on ebay fairly cheap). all in all it should run you 3k for the complete swap, minus labor if you're getting someone to do it.

im feelin talkish tonight, so i'll throw down what i think you should do. get the GSR, and buy an SiR head (b16a). also, buy an ITR (b18c5) exhaust cam/valvetrain. put the SiR head on the GSR block, the ITR exhaust cam/valvetrain and the GSR intake cam/valvetrain in the head, and you're already looking to make some sweet HP with that head on boost. also, look into getting your head ported and polished, along with a 3-angle valve grind. get some ajustable cam gears and you will be set headwise. bottom end, get either Eagle H-beams or Carrillo I-beams (carrillos can be hard to find but theyre tough as Ti and dont tend to stick like titanium will, usually run 600-900 a set) and SRP or JE 9.0:1 pistons. that setup will put you up nicely for up to and including 500 horsepower (not that you're ever really going to need that much power).
