Default New and need some D15 help.

A few years back i bought a 1991 civic lx and now i am starting to have some problems with the engine. just recently the car feels like it is only running on 3 cylinders and so i checked the plugs and wires. come to find out that every plug and wire i took off the spark plug well in the valve cover was filled with oil. any one know how oil is getting there?

Also the car uses a quart of oil a week. i have heard this is typical with these motors with over 100000 miles.

thanks

i kno what it is for sure, ur gaskets btween the valve cover and head are leaking (the round ones), a quick fix is just buy some valve cover sealant and take of ur valve cover. where ever the gasket lies clean it with a rag or sumthing and put some sealnt, dont forget to do the small round ones around ur spark plugs because they r the ones that need help.

i put a valve cover gasket and timing belt on when i first got the car and put the new seals in. i mite buy a new gasket set and redo it and see what happens.

i am also gonna do the compression test. i am hoping hit up my local junkyard in the next few weeks for a motor and tranny.
