Default ODB1 to ODB0 TB swap

alright. so im finally getting ready to boost my civic and i picked up a early 90's gsr TB to allow a little more airflow into the IM. the only problem that i didnt notice til now is that the map sensor is not directly mounted to the TB as in my 93 ex. can i run a short hose from the bottom of my map sensor to the input hose on the TB of the gsr or do i need to go out and find a different TB altogether?... or just stick with my z6 TB. i know they have only like 4mm difference.
