Port n Polished Power Gains

Default Port n Polished Power Gains

First i was wondering how much it would cost to get a head port n polished? i just stripped it bare and im gonna rebuild it but its so f-ing gross. And also is it worth it to get it ported and polished? what are the power gains?

Prob a few hundred bucks. I would do it if youve got it off the motor already.

Wheres riceburner7000, he does p&p jobs and im sure he can give you a ballpark figure on gains.

aw might as well chime in. I have never done a d17 head but you will see some gains maybe between 3hp and 10hp, the port and polish is really like the icing on the cake if you are doing a cam and a decent valve job. If you want a price just pm me and i can get you taking car of for a decent price.
