ive got a b16 vtec ... tomarrow im going to pull the head off and check it out ..because my car jumped timing , ,, i reSET the timing and now it does not sound right when i turn it over .. im going to have the head ported and polished .. and new valves and dual valve springs installed ...

any specific brands or things i should look out for in the process ,,im thinking im going to get skunk 2


would getting the head done like this make a noticeable difference in horsepower..?... i also have skunk2 cams and adjustable cam gears ?

ive got 165ish PSI in three cylinders and about 155psi in the #1 cylinder .. soo somethings not right .. and it doesnt sound right turning over ..

PLEASE....any comments or PM'S , my car has been down for quite some time now and i miss it

 

how bad did it jump, you didnt get the cylinder clash?
