if you can afford synthetic. then go for it. but honda engines have been in the hundred thousands with regular oil for years. so dont think that you have to use synthetic.

 

My mechanic told me the same thing. He said to just use regular oil instead of synthetic and save some money. As long as you change your oil when it needs to be changed, you will not have any problems as opposed to using a synthetic.
