Default Synthetic or regular?

I have a 1994 honda civic ex that has 215,000 miles. No leaks, no weird sounds. Drives like it is brand new and still get 41 mpg when i keep it at 65. I was wondering since it is an older car I have heard that synthetic is a better for the engine. Understanding that the oil is thinner would it be sensible to switch to synthetic in my car? I don't know if the synthetic would be good in smaller engines as mine is. Any ideas on this?

Thanks

Just stick to conventional. I mean, your engine is proof it works well.

If you want to extend oil change intervals just get a blackstone analysis done. You can typically extend your intervals to 5, 6, 7000 mi depending on how you drive.
